Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the most common questions. If you can't find your answer here, the support email is in the footer.

Is this legal?

Buying virtual numbers for SMS verification is legal in most countries. Using them to violate a service's Terms of Service (creating fake accounts, evading bans, mass account creation) is the user's responsibility — that's between you and the service in question, not us.

We comply with applicable laws in our jurisdiction and don't sell numbers in countries where doing so would be illegal.

Do you log my activity?

We log what we have to: account email, balance changes, sessions you bought. We don't store the SMS contents after you've seen them — they're relayed in real time and not retained.

We don't sell or share data with anyone. Crypto payments mean we never see card or bank info.

Why crypto only?

Crypto payment is fast, doesn't require KYC, and works globally. It also keeps the user privacy proposition consistent — using a credit card to buy a "private" phone number kind of defeats the purpose.

We accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), BNB, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and 50+ others via OxaPay.

Can I get a permanent number?

No — every number is single-use per app. After you've received the SMS for that service, the number is retired for that service forever.

If you need a permanent number for ongoing 2FA, this isn't the right service. Look at long-term virtual number providers like Google Voice, Twilio, etc.

What if the SMS doesn't arrive?

Wait the full 15 minutes — sometimes carriers delay the message. If nothing arrives, your balance is automatically refunded in full and you can try a different country.

Different countries have different acceptance rates for different services. If a particular combination keeps failing, try a different country for that app.

Can the receiving service detect that this is a virtual number?

Some services run number-type checks and may flag virtual numbers, especially the major messaging platforms. Acceptance varies by service and country.

In our experience, most services accept our numbers because they come from real mobile carriers. But there's no 100% guarantee — that's why our refund policy exists.
